Day 8.
A photo that makes you angry/sad;
I honestly don't think I have a picture that makes me sad or angry, only pictures that make me happy. I guess I can't write much about day 8 so :]
Fin.

Day 7.

A photo that makes you happy;
I don't really know why but I've always loved this picture. It's of that Carrick young wan Emma, myself and my sister :]
It was taken in Castle Field, where we would go knacker drinking almost every week. I think we were more than tipsy in this picture because I have no idea where I got that hat.
But what I love most about the picture is that every time I think back to those days, they were always sunny. I can't remember a rainy day. I don't think I have anything else to say about the picture, but everyone that was there will know what I mean :)
I miss those days, it just doesn't seem sunny anymore. I want to sit on the grass with a few cans and act like children ♥

Go get your shovel...
Lately I've been more nostalgic than usual. It seems like everyone has gone their separate ways and no one is trying to find their way back. Guess I miss the days where no one gave a fuck and we were too young to care about does who did.
And it seems like I'm the only one who misses those days. Like the days when about 20 of us would just hang around town and get started on by scumbags. Getting too drunk that we can't remember half of the movie we went to see in the cinema. Or just going knacker drinking with them Carrick folk :]
Stupid nostaglia.

Day 5.
I've decided to do another post today seeing as I stopped posting for a few days.
My next post is Day 5, but I really think I should be on Day 7 haha, oh well. Procrastination gets the best of us all.
Your favourite quote:
I guess this has change over the years. I've noticed they seem to change according to what we are going through at that particular time.
But I think one of my favourite quotes will always be "If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything."
I've never really thought about why I like the quote, it just always seemed self explanatory to me. But I guess it always meant, if you have beliefs in something and live your life by those beliefs, then you won't be so gullible and tricked into believing in someone elses beliefs. If that makes any sense. It's hard to describe, but it makes sense to me.
I suppose that's the same with everybody elses favourite quote, it doesn't have to make much sense, it just has to apply to their lifestyle..

Day 4.

Your favourite book:
Hmm I haven't read a good book in a long time. And now with all these "books" like Twilight coming out, I think literature is dying.
But I guess my favourite (or at least the last good book I read) is Eragon. It's the first book in the Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini. He started writing the first book when he was 15. Which is why I like the book even more, it has great writing in it for a 15 year old.
The other two books are called Eldesta and Brisingr, but seeing as it's 4:32am, I'm not really bothered going into great detail about these books. All I can say is go read them.
Eragon;
"When Eragon finds a polished blue stone in the forest, he thinks it is the lucky discovery of a poor farm boy; perhaps it will buy his family meat for the winter. But when the stone brings a dragon hatchling, Eragon realizes he has stumbled upon a legacy nearly as old as the Empire itself. Overnight his simple life is shattered, and he is thrust into a perilous new world of destiny, magic, and power. With only an ancient sword and the advice of an old storyteller for guidance, Eragon and the fledgling dragon must navigate the dangerous terrain and dark enemies of an Empire ruled by a king whose evil knows no bounds. Can Eragon take up the mantle of the legendary Dragon Riders? The fate of the Empire may rest in his hands."

Day 3.

I didn't get a chance to go on this and post a new blog due to my computer screen breaking :(
Any way it's day 3 so it's "Your favourite television show".
I fucking loved this cartoon growing up and religiously watched it with my brother and sister.
It's called "KaBlam!"
It was presented by two characters named Henry and June. They also had other short cartoons on during the show, like Action League Now, Prometheus and Bob and Life with Loopy.
I love the cartoons that aired during the 90's, they don't make them like they used to. All kids have today are crappy rip off's of other cartoons, like that Ben 10 fucker, I hate that little shit.
What I hate more is if cartoons today are popular, they're made into movies with teenage actors you've never heard of.
And then their faces are slapped on merchandise to make more money.
You'd never really see that during the 90's. I've never seen a KaBlam! movie in the cinema, or a CatDog, Gargoyles, Ren and Stimpy, Road Rovers, Oggy and the cockroaches or even Biker Mice from Mars.
I guess I'm just growing up :(

Day 02.

Your favourite movie;
I think I have way too many favourite movies, I can't pick just one. So I'll change it to "Your favourtie movies" :]
One of my favourite trilogies ever. I was obsessed with these movies when they came out, even learned a bit of Elvish haha. I bought all the movies and then went and bought all the extended movies. I collected figures of the characters every week, I think I have around 30-40 of them. I still have them. I also got a Gollum, Minas Thirith and Helms Deep figures :]
I'm a freak, I know.
I never really liked anime until I saw thi
s movie. It's called Howl's Moving Castle, written and directed by Hayao Miyazaki of Studio Ghibli. Long story short, the movie is about a wizard nammed Howl. He takes a liking to a girl named Sophie, who works in a hat shop, which attracts the attention of the Witch of the Waste, who wants Howl's heart for herself. So she curses Sophie, turning her into an old woman. So Sophie runs away, and meets a scarecrow which she calls Turniphead. He finds Howl's castle for her where she meets Calcifer, a fire that makes the castle move.
Further along in the movie, Howls various assumed identities are summonded by the King to fight in the war. He's reluctant but does so. Blah blah blah fight scene blah blah.
I guess I can't really say any more or I'll ruin the movie :P

The story is about how Ponyo wants to become human but her father tries to prevent it.
This movie is too weird to try and explain :]
Go watch it.

Day 01 ♥
Your favourite song;
Without a doubt, it has to be Round Here by Counting Crows.
My sister made me listen to this band and the first song I remember listening to was this song. And I fell in love with the band ever since.
I love how haunting the song sounds and Adam Duritz voice is amazing in it :]
"Step out the front door like a ghost,
Into the fog where no one notices the contrast of white on white.
And in between the moon and you,
The angels get a better view,
Of the crumbling difference between wrong and right.
Iwalk in the air, between the rain, through myself and back again where?
I don't know.
Maria says she's dying, through the door i hear her crying why?
I don't know
Round here we always stand up straight,
Round here something radiates.
Maria came from Nashville with a suitcase in her hand, she said she'd like to
meet a boy who looks like Elvis.
She walks along the edge of where the ocean meets the land, just like she's
walking on a wire in the circus.
She parks her car outside of my house and takes her clothes off, says she's
close to understanding Jesus.
She knows she's more than just a little misunderstood, she has trouble acting
normal when she's nervous.
Round here we're carving out our names.
Round here we all look the same.
Round here we talk just like lions, but we sacrifice like lambs.
Round here she's slipping through my hands.
Oohhh sleeping children better run like the wind,
Out of the lightning dream.
Mama's little baby better get herself in, out of the lightning.
She says "It's only in my head."
She says "Sshhh...I know it's only in my head."
But the girl on the car in the parking lot says: "Man, you should try to take a
shot. can't you see my walls are crumblin?"
Then she looks up at the building,
And says she's thinkin of jumping.
She says she's tired of life, she must be tired of something.
Round here she's always on my mind.
Round here (hey man)i got lots of time.
Round here we're never sent to bed early and nobody makes us wait.
Round here we stay up very, very, very, very late.
I can't see nothing, nothing round here.
Won't you catch me if I'm falling?
Won't you catch me if I'm falling?
Won't you catch me cause I'm falling down on you.
See I'm under the gun round here,
Oh man I said I'm under the gun round here,
And i can't see nothing, nothing, round here."

And I'm no good at writing blogs, realizing just now how funny it is that I joined a blog site.
It's got me thinking about the future of literature and all that jazz. Will kids in 10 years time know what the fuck a book is?
We have all these website for writing blogs, but has anyone stop to pick up a journal and write in it? Doubt future generations will even know how to write.
But I shouldn't complain, I'm on a blogging site too.
"If you can read this, thank a teacher."
