Day 02.

Your favourite movie;

I think I have way too many favourite movies, I can't pick just one. So I'll change it to "Your favourtie movies" :]

One of my favourite trilogies ever. I was obsessed with these movies when they came out, even learned a bit of Elvish haha. I bought all the movies and then went and bought all the extended movies. I collected figures of the characters every week, I think I have around 30-40 of them. I still have them. I also got a Gollum, Minas Thirith and Helms Deep figures :]
I'm a freak, I know.

I never really liked anime until I saw this movie. It's called Howl's Moving Castle, written and directed by Hayao Miyazaki of Studio Ghibli. Long story short, the movie is about a wizard nammed Howl. He takes a liking to a girl named Sophie, who works in a hat shop, which attracts the attention of the Witch of the Waste, who wants Howl's heart for herself. So she curses Sophie, turning her into an old woman. So Sophie runs away, and meets a scarecrow which she calls Turniphead. He finds Howl's castle for her where she meets Calcifer, a fire that makes the castle move.
Further along in the movie, Howls various assumed identities are summonded by the King to fight in the war. He's reluctant but does so. Blah blah blah fight scene blah blah.
I guess I can't really say any more or I'll ruin the movie :P

This is another movie written and directed by Hayao Miyazaki of Studio Ghibli, it's called Spirited Away. It's about a ten-year-old girl who moves to a new town with her mother and father, along the way the find an abandoned theme park. They go in and find that they are in a different world. A world where no one can remember their name, so noone can escape. After her parents are turned into pigs for eating a kiosk full of food, the girl meets a boy who joins her on her journey to try and remember her name and to turn her parents back into human.

Another movie from Studio Ghibli (yes, I like their movies) This movie is called Ponyo. It's about a boy that finds a goldfish and takes her home and names her Ponyo.
The story is about how Ponyo wants to become human but her father tries to prevent it.
This movie is too weird to try and explain :]
Go watch it.

Day 01 ♥

Your favourite song;

Without a doubt, it has to be Round Here by Counting Crows.
My sister made me listen to this band and the first song I remember listening to was this song. And I fell in love with the band ever since.
I love how haunting the song sounds and Adam Duritz voice is amazing in it :]

"Step out the front door like a ghost,
Into the fog where no one notices the contrast of white on white.
And in between the moon and you,
The angels get a better view,
Of the crumbling difference between wrong and right.
Iwalk in the air, between the rain, through myself and back again where?
I don't know.
Maria says she's dying, through the door i hear her crying why?
I don't know

Round here we always stand up straight,
Round here something radiates.

Maria came from Nashville with a suitcase in her hand, she said she'd like to
meet a boy who looks like Elvis.
She walks along the edge of where the ocean meets the land, just like she's
walking on a wire in the circus.
She parks her car outside of my house and takes her clothes off, says she's
close to understanding Jesus.
She knows she's more than just a little misunderstood, she has trouble acting
normal when she's nervous.

Round here we're carving out our names.
Round here we all look the same.
Round here we talk just like lions, but we sacrifice like lambs.
Round here she's slipping through my hands.

Oohhh sleeping children better run like the wind,
Out of the lightning dream.
Mama's little baby better get herself in, out of the lightning.

She says "It's only in my head."
She says "Sshhh...I know it's only in my head."

But the girl on the car in the parking lot says: "Man, you should try to take a
shot. can't you see my walls are crumblin?"
Then she looks up at the building,
And says she's thinkin of jumping.
She says she's tired of life, she must be tired of something.

Round here she's always on my mind.
Round here (hey man)i got lots of time.
Round here we're never sent to bed early and nobody makes us wait.
Round here we stay up very, very, very, very late.

I can't see nothing, nothing round here.
Won't you catch me if I'm falling?
Won't you catch me if I'm falling?
Won't you catch me cause I'm falling down on you.

See I'm under the gun round here,
Oh man I said I'm under the gun round here,
And i can't see nothing, nothing, round here."

Copycat.

Shur I'll give it a go.

I'm a noob. One with nothing to say.
And I'm no good at writing blogs, realizing just now how funny it is that I joined a blog site.
It's got me thinking about the future of literature and all that jazz. Will kids in 10 years time know what the fuck a book is?
We have all these website for writing blogs, but has anyone stop to pick up a journal and write in it? Doubt future generations will even know how to write.
But I shouldn't complain, I'm on a blogging site too.

"If you can read this, thank a teacher."
